i saw a tear...

this morning, alex suddenly stood up from bed, saying his stomach is aching and that he feels dizzy.. he said he'd go to the comfort room for a while... after relieving himself and showering, he went back to our bedroom and i asked him to lie down.. i prepared a hot milk chocolate drink for him but he refrained from drinking it immediately... i explained to him he might be suffering from gas pain so i had to boil water for him for a hot compress.. he agreed.. when i placed the hot water bag on his stomach, double coating it with a towel so his skin wont burn, he said "'you are my doctor and protector""... i smiled and said, ""yeah, i am your doctor""... when i adjusted the hot water bag's location, i saw a tear brimming at the left corner of his left eye.. i asked him, ""are you crying? is it really painful?"" and he just opened his arms so i'd go to him for a hug.. and he embraced me so tightly and said ''" in this world, there is only one jehan, my wife, my woman, my protector, my eternal love"".....
